Workers on the State Line Lookout Cafe in Palisades Interstate Park in Alpine, New Jersey, acquired a shock after they went to work earlier this week.
Hanging on the door was a bag of human bones.
The workers contacted the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Division Monday (native time) to report what they suspected was a bag of human stays, which has since been confirmed.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s workplace has launched an official investigation.
“The stays might be submitted to a lab for identification and might be in comparison with lacking individuals data,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella mentioned in an announcement.
The Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Workplace has been tasked with analysing the bones, whereas the prosecutor’s Chilly Case Unit might be working to research and determine the stays.
Dr Zhongxue Hua, who serves because the county medical expert, wouldn’t remark as it’s an ongoing investigation.
